Carriage Series ‘designer’ model now open at Legacy at Mountain Lakes

August 1, 2014

The developers of Legacy of Mountain Lakes, the upscale collection of just 39 townhomes in this desirable Morris County bor-ough, have unveiled a new model home that highlights the community’s “Carriage Series.”
The new model showcases the “Midvale” floor plan, a three-bedroom, two-full-bath, two-half-bath layout with 2,236 square feet of living space. Merchandised by the interior design firm of Gacek Design, the fully decorated and furnished model fea-tures an open floor plan and spacious, comfortable living areas.
The first floor includes a garage, a great room and a patio. The second floor features an expansive living room and dining area, a country kitchen with raised-panel cabinetry and granite countertops, a large center island and an outdoor deck. The upper level offers a master suite with a walk-in closet and a master bath with granite countertops, dual sinks and Kohler fix-tures.
“In a Mountain Lakes community that is highly-coveted for its tree-lined streets, stately homes, excellent schools and nine pristine lakes, the Carriage Series provides buyers with an affordable ownership option,” said Maurice Hornblass, a principal of HornRock Properties, the developer of Legacy of Mountain Lakes. “We recently opened the Midvale model to showcase the exceptional interior features and overall quality of life these buyers can experience here, all at a reasonable price point. For couples, young families looking to upgrade, and anyone else looking to enjoy this luxury lifestyle, we invite you to come visit this new model today.”
The Midvale model is the third model home to open at Legacy of Mountain Lakes. Two models that opened earlier this year showcase the “Briarcliff” and “Fernwood” floor plans, which are part of the community’s “Signature Series,” which is now nearly sold out, with only six homes remaining.
Signature Series homes feature three bedrooms, 2 ½ baths, walk-out basements, and either 2,819 or 2,853 square feet of luxury living space. Upgrade packages are available to expand to even more living space. Optional finished basements, ele-vators and loft spaces, which can be used as an additional bedroom or flex space with full bath, are available. Prices for Sig-nature Series homes start from $799,900.
Carriage Series homes are offered in two designs, the “Midvale” and the “Hillcrest,” both of which offer three-bedroom layouts with two full baths, two half baths and one- or two-car garages. The three-story townhomes range from 2,162 to 2,236 fin-ished square feet and are priced from $574,900.
“Many buyers who have their heart set on Mountain Lakes are pleasantly surprised to learn about the multiple townhome de-signs we offer and just how much quality, space and comfort they are receiving for their home buying dollar,” said David Hornblass, another HornRock principal.
Legacy of Mountain Lakes has proven to have broad appeal to a wide range of homebuyers. Buyers to date have cited the community’s attractive location, quality-of-life and top-notch public school system, which boasts the 7th best high school in the state, according to the latest New Jersey Monthly ranking of Top Public High Schools in New Jersey, as motivating factors.
